NYRR has announced that the NYC Half-Marathon lottery results will be posted and e-mailed this evening at 5:00 p.m. Also tonight is the American Heart Association Start! Wall Street Run & Heart Walk at 6:30 p.m. in the Financial District.
Dathan Ritzenhein won the Healthy Kidney 10K yesterday morning, beating the Central Park 10K record with a time of 28:08 and taking home $27,000 in prize money. He was followed by 5,413 finishers, about 14% more than the amount of finishers at the 2006 Healthy Kidney 10K.

Former marathon world record holder Khalid Khannouchi will be running in this Saturday’s Healthy Kidney 10K in Central Park, facing Craig Mottram, Dathan Ritzenhein and a slew of other elite runners. Despite moving to Brooklyn in 1993, Khannouchi has never raced in Central Park, according to this New York Times article.
