In the News: Defending His Title, Without His Twin

The New York Times has an article about former national champion Jorge Torres and his twin brother, Edwardo. Jorge will be running the USA Men's 8K Championship tomorrow and is considering running the Olympic Marathon trials on November 3rd in Central Park. The article also quotes elite runner Abdi Abdirahman regarding running in Central Park in adverse conditions:
“There’s nothing tricky about Central Park,†he said. “You know the hills are there. And as for the weather, snow and sleet aren’t my favorite or anyone’s, but you cannot worry about the weather. You just run.â€
