Thanks, Joe. I’ve added it. Not sure how I missed it in the first place!

Just wanted to let you know that a number of runners’ times were not recorded at yesterday’s Healthy Kidney 10K. I went to the IT tent after the race and they said the finish line timing pad got unplugged for a time. (I came in at 45:18 chip time, around 46:00 clock time…) I told them my watch time and they recorded it, and others have been dealing with them by email with success. So maybe you should post something about this…?

Thank you, Steve. I had this issue myself and was able to get it resolved by contacting NYRR. I knew others had a problem, but didn’t realize how wide-spread it was. I’ve updated the post.

In addition to the non-timing issue, apparently Urban Athletics somehow gave numbers and chip randomly to their runners. Indeed, one guy scored who was seen watching the race from the sidelines.
They seem to have gotten it straightened out; the results have been changed. I don’t think it affected any awards or team placements.
