The Fifth Annual Run as One, TGL Classic Presented by JPMorgan Chase takes place this Sunday, April 29th at 8:30 a.m. in Central Park. This race benefits lung cancer research and is a club points race. NYRR has uploaded a PDF map of the course, which is the same as last weekend's adidas Run for the Parks. According to the National Weather Service Forecast, Sunday morning should be partly cloudy with temperatures in the 50's. To be eligible for one of the three preferred start corrals you must have run a 10K race or longer in 2006 at a 7:20 pace/mile or better if you are male, or 8:20 or better if you are female.
I have my own trainer, Frances, who is amazing. Every morning she yells at me, "Come on, Joan, you’re not too old! Bend over and touch your toe tag!"
6,575 runners finished the adidas Run for the Parks this morning in Central Park. The weather was excellent, especially compared to last year's Run for the Parks. Results have been posted to NYRR.org and photos are available at the NYC Running Blog Photo Gallery.
