Update: NYRR 8000 and USA Men’s 8K Championships
New York Road Runners has posted the following information to their website regarding the NYRR 8000 and USA Men’s 8K Championships:
- The start time has changed to 8:00 a.m. The USA Men’s 8K
Championships, featuring the nation’s top male distance runners, will now start at 9:30. - The race will NOT be a club points race (though it will be scored).
- Any registered entrant, whether he/she runs the race or not, will receive credit for the race as one of the nine races NYRR members as of January 2007 need to qualify for the ING New York City Marathon 2008.
- Please check NYRR.org starting at 6:30 a.m. Saturday for possible updates.
