Saturday: NYRR 8000 and USA Men’s 8K Championship
Saturday at 7:30 am is the NYRR 8000, followed by the USA Men’s 8K Championship at 9:00 am in Central Park. New York Road Runners has posted a PDF map of the course, which starts on the West Drive near 70th Street and ends on the West Drive at Tavern on the Green. The weather is going to take a turn for the worse and is predicted to be much colder and possibly snowy for the race. Also, if you’re interested in celebrating the Irish within you, The 2007 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will start at 11:00 am that morning and heads up 5th Avenue from 44th to 86th Street.
